She wasn’t an artist. But few people in Kansas City have done more to inspire future generations of artists than Barbara Hall Marshall, who died of natural causes on April 21, 2021.
Daughter of Hallmark Cards, Inc. founder J.C. Hall, Barbara had a keen eye for art and great admiration for the people who create it. She was a champion for Hallmark’s creative community, a longtime trustee of the Kansas City Art Institute, co-founder of the National Museum of Toys and Miniatures and supported many local arts and human service organizations.
I love art. But I love even more the people who make art.
